Learning model
Students work with an AI agent through questions, evidence, explanations, and revision.
A judge tracks progress and a completion agent produces scores and a report at the end.
Teachers receive the transcript, an overall score, a written summary, dimension scores when enabled, and the checkpoints the judge tracked with the turn each was met at.
Students see the brief and hints. Internal directives and checkpoint details stay hidden.
Current beta scope
| Area | Current beta | Planned direction |
|---|---|---|
| Roles | PlatformAdmin, Teacher, InstitutionAdmin, Student, and IndependentLearner are live role-based paths. | Self-registration (built, switched off in the beta), plus independent and institution subscription tiers. |
| Challenge authoring | Templates of six challenge types written in plain fields, version publishing, and assignment. Independent learners write, edit and archive challenges of their own in any of those types. | The remaining challenge types, programs, community sharing of learner-written challenges, and richer customization. |
| Classroom operations | A teacher builds rosters and assigns an ordered chain of challenges with a narrative theme to a student or roster, inside an enforced Open At / Close At window, and can cancel an assignment to stop it at once. | Invitations, bulk imports, co-teachers, archives, and scheduling extensions. |
| Reports | Student and teacher session reports with transcript, milestones, hint level, an overall score, and summary. | Institution dashboards, exports, gradebook and LMS workflows. |
| Notifications | An in-app bell and notification list in both portals, for work being assigned, a challenge being finished, and an evaluation becoming available. Opening the list marks it read. | Email delivery, per-user preferences, reminders before a due date, and archiving. |
| Commercial model | Not implemented as a beta workflow. | Institution seats and independent, teacher, and student subscription tiers. |
| Privacy and deletion | Permanent erasure of a person's personal data on request: independent learners delete their own account from Options; institution administrators erase their own students and teachers; platform administrators handle everyone else. Scores and counts remain in anonymous form, and every erasure is logged. See the Privacy Policy. | Self-service data export for learners, and fixed automatic retention periods. |
Session lifecycle
The student opens an assigned or available challenge after reading the brief.
Turns are saved as the conversation runs. A judge checks every turn against the type's milestones, nudges the agent to hint when the student stalls, and ends the conversation once every milestone is met, a turn limit is reached, or - where the challenge was published with a time limit - the time runs out.
The student can pause a run from the challenge page and pick it up again from the paused banner or their dashboard; the agent is told to re-orient them where they left off. A run stopped by a problem on our side pauses the same way and resumes the same way, with nothing the student wrote lost. Reviewers handle safeguard flags from the Safeguard flags list, and a run paused for review is released by the reviewer rather than by the student.
Completion produces a report. Partial completion preserves the record and feedback.
Safety and integrity
A disclosure of self-harm, abuse or serious distress in a student's message pauses the session and raises a flag for review, and notifies whoever set the work. Reviewers can inspect a flag, read the visible transcript, and clear or escalate it with notes and a reason; clearing the last open flag lets the student continue, and escalating keeps the session paused.
The product preserves reasoning evidence. Suspicious patterns are review signals, not automatic accusations or blocks.
Role guides
Manage your institution's users and their teacher, student, or admin memberships.
Institution guideBuild a challenge template, publish it, assign a chain to a roster, and review reports. Use the teacher assistant while editing and browse the platform library by subject and age rating.
Teacher guideSign in, find an assignment, work through a challenge, and read your report.
Student guideSign in, browse the challenge library by subject and age rating or write your own challenge, run it, and revisit your results.

Get startedSharing links
An admin-portal link sends a signed-out recipient to the sign in form. A signed-in recipient without the required role sees a message naming the access they need. A recipient without access to a specific record, such as another teacher's roster, does not load the record and returns to the list.
The student portal always shows its main address, so a copied link opens the portal home page, never a specific challenge. Every request checks the signed-in user's role and institution; links give no access to data.
